Single vehicle crash halts traffic on Interstate 40

A crash involving a tractor trailer stalls traffic early Monday morning

An early morning crash involving a tractor trailer caused all eastbound lanes of Interstate 40 to be shut down Monday at about 2 a.m.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol reported a single-vehicle crash involving a tractor trailer that caught fire at mile marker 232 at Highway 109. All lanes were re-opened to traffic around 4:30 a.m.
