NWS: More rain, flooding expected

The National Weather Service issued a flash flood watch Monday afternoon through Tuesday morning as thunderstorms approach Wilson and Trousdale counties.

Forecasters said scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms are expected across Middle Tennessee on Monday night with some possibly strong with the potential for heavy rainfall.

Forecasters said the storms could lead to at least minor flooding in low-lying and flood-prone areas. Showers and thunderstorms are expected to continue through Tuesday night.
