The National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory from Saturday at 9 p.m. until Sunday at 9 a.m. Wilson County.
Forecasters said there could be freezing rain and sleet with potential for thin accumulation of ice, creating slick roads until temperatures rise above freezing.
Hazardous travel conditions are expected to develop by midnight and continue through the overnight hours.
A winter weather advisory means that periods of snow, sleet or freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for slippery roads and limited visibility, and use caution while driving.
