The National Weather Service updated their forecast model for tonight into Wednesday for a potential for light snow.
Currently there is only a potential for a dusting of snow, primarily in the eastern portion of Wilson County.
"The temperatures will be hanging around the freezing mark at daylight, which could mean the difference between looking pretty falling from the sky and melting or looking pretty falling from the sky and melting later," said Wilson Emergency Managementy Agency's Capt. Steve Spencer. "At this time we are not expecting anything more than a dusting, but it could cause a few issues on the roads briefly until the temperatures warm up later in the morning."
