The National Weather Service canceled a severe thunderstorm watch early for Wilson County.
Forecasters issued the watch for Wilson County and most of Middle Tennessee on Saturday evening.
Forecasters said the watch was expected to end at midnight for Wilson and 21 other counties, but it was canceled just after 9 p.m.
According to forecasters, a line of thunderstorms could produce cloud-to-ground lightning, along with heavy rainfall. A tornado watch remained in effect for the Nashville area, and about 2,000 people were reportedly without power.
The CMA Fest concerts at LP FIeld in Nashville are under a delay due to the thunderstorms.
