Strong and possibly severe thunderstorms are expected to move across Middle Tennessee from the west Monday night and into early Tuesday morning, according to the National Weather Service.
Forecasters said a line of storms capable of producing strong straight-line winds and heavy rainfall will reach Wilson County on Monday before midnight. Localized flash flooding and ponding on roadways is likely.
The potential for heavy rain and flash flooding also exists Tuesday. Forecasters said a slight risk of severe thunderstorms across Middle Tennessee exists for Tuesday with damaging winds possible.
