There are no telling how many times, when I have a get together, I need something nice, cheap and easy to impress my friends.

This recipe is for crostini, which is seasoned toasted bread. It doesn’t sound too amazing, however, paired with a nice dip of any kind, it becomes a focal point everyone will talk about.

For the weekend, we will make a soup, which goes great with these crostini. But be careful; these are addictive once you start making them.

Crostini

Ingredients

1 loaf of French bread

1 tbsp. of olive oil

1 tbsp. of Italian seasoning

1 tsp. of garlic powder

1 tsp. of salt

1 tsp. of pepper

truffle oil (optional)

Directions

Slice the bread into coins and place on a baking tray. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Mix powered seasonings. Lightly drizzle or brush the olive oil onto the bread.

Spread seasoning mix over the oiled bread to lightly coat. I

f using truffle oil, gently drizzle it over the bread.

Bake until the bread is golden brown and crisp.
