The Wilson County Republican Party will have its annual Reagan Day dinner Sept. 28 at 6 p.m. at the Capital Theatre in Lebanon.
Former U.S. Attorney General Alberto Gonzales, who served under former President George W. Bush, will be the keynote speaker.
“We are excited about the chance to use the newly remodeled and restored Capital Theatre on Lebanon’s square as our venue,” said Wilson County Republican Party chairman Clark Boyd. “We also look forward to hearing from Judge Gonzales. It will definitely be interesting to hear from someone who was so central and privy to many of the decisions being made by President Bush during the War on Terror.”
Boyd said several other prominent Republicans would be in attendance, including U.S. Congresswoman Diane Black.
“With so many seats up for grabs in the upcoming 2014 elections, the dinner will be a great event for anyone considering running for office in 2014 to attend,” Boyd said.
Tickets are $50 each, and table sponsorships are also available. For more information or to buy tickets, contact Boyd at firstname.lastname@example.org or 615-444-8111.
