Blue Devils, Wildcats post holiday weekend wins

MURFREESBORO - The Blue Devils of Lebanon earned a 58-55 victory over Clarksville Northeast Saturday thanks to a buzzer-beating 3-pointer by Terrence Logue. The win boosts the Devils to 4-1 for the season.
"Terrence hit a buzzer beater from just across half court to win it for us," Lebanon coach Doug Keil said.
The Devils led the contest through the first half, going into the locker room ahead 30-25.
The momentum shifted a bit in the sescond half and Lebanon fell behind 40-36 at the close of the third quarter.
Ken Walton had 17 points and three 3-pointers to lead the way for Lebanon. O'Keefe McCarver fired in 16 points and two 3-pointers, Michael Edwards tossed in eight, Alex Johnson six, Logue put in five, and Xavier Smith, Hershal McCathern and Connor Burger added two each.
Lebanon visits Wilson Central Tuesday.

Wilson Central's Wildcats scored a 63-56 win over Upperman to move to 2-1 for the season Saturday.
The first quarter ended with the score 13-8 in favor of Wilson Central. The Wildcats held a 10-point lead heading to the locker room at the half, 27-17.
We led the entire game," Wildcat coach Troy Bond said. "It was a good win for us."
The third period ended showing Wilson Central up 51-34.
For the Wildcats, Travis Adkins had 16 points, Kody Woodard tossed in 10, JaJuan Brooks and Daniel Palmer put in nine each, Tereas Clemmons and Arcavius McMurray eight apiece, Kelten Stewart two and Preston Jenkins a free throw.
The Wildcats play host to the Blue Devils Tuesday.
