CHUE girls overtake West Wilson

MT. JULIET — Castle Heights Upper Elementary's girls came from 12 points behind to overtake host West Wilson 40-32 Thursday night.
West Wilson led 23-11 at halftime before Castle Heights climbed within 27-26 going into the fourth quarter as the Lady Knights evened their record at 1-1 for the season.
Point guard Julia Fox fired in 15 points for Castle Heights while Jackie Thomas knocked down nine, Alicia Jennings seven, Latasha Baker five and Mary Caroline Ferguson four.
The Lady Knights opened their season at home Monday with a 27-19 loss to Mt. Juliet.
The Lady Bears led 6-4 following the first quarter, 18-8 at halftime and 25-12 through three periods.
Fox tossed in 10 points for Castle Heights while Baker scored seven and Ferguson and Jennings a free throw each.
Castle Heights will host Union Heights at 6 p.m. Monday.
