ADMINSTRATIVE SUPPORT SPECIALIST (TEMPORARY) City of Lebanon, TN $13.00 - $15.00 per hour, DOQ Our community will conduct a Special Census to get an updated population count. This new count will help us qualify for state revenues we need, providing essential services; public safety, street repair, services for seniors and other important activities we depend on every day. This temporary role will be 40 hours per week for approximately 6 months and reports to the Census Project Manager in the Mayor's Office. Responsibilities include scheduling and organizing meetings, compiling documents, preparing reports and presentations, track project status, collect data from Census Takers and facilitate requests and critical action items. At times, the Admin Specialist may be required to support Census activities in the field. The administrative specialist must type 40 wpm and 10-key with an accuracy of 75% or better plus be proficient with MS Office 2013 with advanced Word and Excel skills and have experience working with database programs such as MS Access or similar software. Candidates may be required to submit to pre-employment testing to validate these skills. HS Diploma required, Minimum 3 years Admin experience required. Valid TN Driver's license, proof of insurance and clear driving record (no major violations for past 3 years) are required. Candidates must successfully pass a background check, pre-employment physical and drug test.
