The 15th Bark in the Park will be held Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Wilson County Fairgrounds.
Plans are set for Bark in the Park to return for its 15th year with plenty of activities planned for people with paws and feet.

Stansberry Jr.’s name as he joined six others in reading a list of the fallen soldiers from Wilson County. Stansberry, who was killed in Afghanistan, was one of Dempsey’s students in high school.

(Submitted to the Democrat) Jean Bildad Michel, Cumberland University student and Haitian native citizen, speaks with Haitian college students during a recent mission trip to the country. Michel was one of 16 Cumberland students who made the trip in March as a part of a leadership studies course.
Cumberland University students and faculty shared stories and lessons learned from the group’s recent trip to Haiti with the Lebanon Kiwanis Club last Monday.
