CU Lady Bulldogs conquer the Ozarks

Cumberland University's Lady Bulldogs scored a 73-69 win over the College of the Ozarks in the Cumberland Classic Saturday at the Dallas Floyd Recreation Center.
Cumberland held a two-point advantage at the half, 41-39, thanks to shooting 53-percent from the floor.
College of the Ozarks kept things close with some clutch shooting at the free throw line. The team was 80-percent from the foul line for the game compared to just 58-percent for the Lady Bulldogs.
Kiana Robinson led all scorers with 20 points for Cumberland. C'Kala Humes tossed in 14 points, Renae Williams knocked in nine, Mariel Ruis put in eight, Isabelli Cunico, Kari Maddox and Tomika Hall each had six and Kristen Kirkland two.
