CU rolls over Concordia-Selma
NASHVILLE — Cumberland Univeristy's Bulldogs scored a 102-51 victory over Concordia-Selma Saturday to move to 2-0 on the season.
The Bulldogs had the game well in control by halftime with a 32 point lead while shooting 57-percent from the floor.
Concordia hit only 28.6-percent of its shots in the first half and was 31-percent from the floor for the match.
Cumberland outrebounded Concordia 44-29 and had double the points in the paint.
Steven Jamison led the charge for the Bulldogs with 20 points and five rebounds. Chase Burnett added 17 points, Channing Tucker 14, Thomas Douglas 12, Ponce Palmer 10, Aurimas Silys six points and six boards, Maurice Johnson tossed in six, DeCorey Young five, Jason Langelier and Desmond Rhodes four each and Joseph Northington and Torrez Hampton two apiece.
Julien McCoy led Concordia-Selma with 10 points.
