Cumberland finishes 2nd in TSC tourney

OLD HICKORY — Cumberland finished second in the TranSouth Conference Men's Golf Championships on Tuesday as Bethel took its first TSC title.
Bethel posted a pair of 306s for a two-day total of 612. Cumberland carded 315 and 310 for a 625 total. Union was third at 628.
Cumberland's Jonathan Drake shot a 77 and 75 on the par-71 course for a 152 total while teammate Cole Brazier carded a 76 and a 78 for a 154 total. Both made the All-Conference team.
All six conference teams qualified for the NAIA Region XI tournament to be held April 23-24 at the Old Silo Course in Mt. Sterling, Ky.
