Mount Olivet Baptist Church in Mt. Juliet and Cornerstone Baptist Church in Crab Orchard, W.Va. joined hands and hearts recently to serve mission at the New River Baptist Church in Fayetteville, W.Va.

Chris Gregg conducts the United We Sing choir and orchestra rehearsal July 2 at First Baptist Church in Mt. Juliet. The 145-member choir and orchestra, composed primarily of volunteers from five local churches, performed for the first United We Sing community patriotic concert last Friday evening.
MT. JULIET – Nashville-area churches celebrated God, country, truth and “really good music” in a unique community-wide July 3 extravaganza thanks to the cooperative efforts of five local churches and recording artist Chris Gregg’s desire to see churches work together.

While in Wilson County last week, Cub Scout Jonah Fowler earns a scout patch by touring The Lebanon Democrat to fulfill his media organization tour requirement. His father and Brazilian missionary Nick Fowler accompanied him on the tour.
“After visiting Brazil in college, I swore I’d never come back,” said missionary Nick Fowler.

About 200 people gather at College Hills Church of Christ last Sunday to hear a presentation on the history of the civil rights movement in Wilson County. Afterward seven church congregations gathered for the church’s annual Unified Worship service.
