The Lebanon City Council discussed more than one controversial subject Tuesday, including a plan to renovate the Lebanon Town Square.

With the public speaking out on a variety of subjects once the meeting began, Martin Frost was the first to broach the subject, telling the council he was opposed to the plan to change the square.

"The more I learn about this plan, the more upset I become," he said, asking who was behind the plan to change the square - the Tennessee Department of Transportation or the city. "I don't know what the driving force is behind this."
