Police see rise in false reports

It’s probably not the best idea to lie to police.
“We’ve been seeing this for some time, but here lately, it seems to be more prevalent that we’re dealing with people that are making false police reports,” said Lebanon police Chief Scott Bowen.
Bowen cited three recent cases of people investigated for or charged with filing a false report
