A chance for the family to spend some time listening to some live music and hang with Gen. Robert Hatton is right around the corner.

Lebanon-Wilson County Chamber of Commerce President Sue Vanatta said Thursday's event, to be held on the square in Lebanon, will be "a great night of fun."

"We will have live music from Randy Moore and the Fabulous Suedes. They recently opened for Jimmy Buffett, and they have also opened for Bon Jovi, Amy Grant and several others," Vanatta said.

Also on tap will be a cruise-in car show in the lot surrounding Hatton's statue. Vanatta said the event is free, and parking will be available in the old courthouse parking lot at the corner of the square.

The free event begins at 5:30 p.m., and Randy and the Fabulous Suedes will crank up the tunes at 6:30 p.m. Attendees are asked to bring their own lawn chairs.

"There will be food available for purchase, and door prizes will be given away throughout the evening," said Vanatta. "This is our way to showcase our downtown area and have a fun night."

There will be two other "Jammin'" concerts – June 20 and July 18. For more information on the event, contact the chamber at 615-444-5503.
