LifeFlight paramedics airlifted a Lebanon girl after a fall from the high dive at the Jimmy Floyd Center pool.

Police Chief Scott Bowen said the 6-year-old girl was climbing the ladder at the center’s outdoor pool and was about 6-feet high when she fell backward onto the concrete. The incident happened at about 6:45 p.m.

Wilson County Emergency Agency paramedics responded to the center, and the girl was flown to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with what police believe are non-life threatening injuries.

The girl’s identity and condition were unavailable.
