Longtime pastor to retire from pulpit
Updated Jan 3, 2014 at 1:52 PM
The elders of Love's Way Community Church would like to invite everyone to attend a special service Sunday at 10 a.m. to honor Pastors Bob and Peggy Evans as they celebrate their retirement from the pulpit ministry.
According to the elders, "Brother Bob and Sister Peggy have been serving the Lord at Love's Way Church full-time since 2005 and now they are stepping down in order to devote more of their time to the administrative duties of the Joseph's Storehouse Food Ministry."
They continued, "Construction of the new 9,600 sq. ft. addition to the warehouse is almost complete and it will more than double the storage capacity on the premises. And with more and more families who are seeking help each month, it requires additional time and effort of the leadership and staff."
The elders also said, "Anyone who wishes to bless Bro. Bob and Sister Peggy with a love offering, please bring it to the church on Sunday morning or mail it to Love's Way Community Church located at 1960 S.E. Tater Peeler Rd. in Lebanon.
