(MCT) – Early Friday morning, Memphis police arrested the mother of a 7-week-old girl who went missing Thursday.

Andrea A. Walker, 33, has been charged with two counts of aggravated child abuse and two counts of aggravated child neglect or endangerment. The fate of the Aniston Walker was still unknown at 8 a.m. Friday.

More than three dozen officers arrived at the home at 5604 Falling Bark Drive near Bartlett.

The officers gathered outside, waiting on maps to specify search areas before they start looking again. The infant's home appears to be empty with two cars still in the garage.

The mother was booked into the jail just after 4 a.m. The infant was reported missing Thursday, spurring a huge police presence at the home. According to police, the infant was last seen in the home Thursday morning, and details surrounding her disappearance were contradictory last Thursday.

A neighbor, out walking her dog, said Walker has two other children.

On Thursday, officers and police dogs scoured the subdivision south of Bartlett near Raleigh-Lagrange and Bartlett Road. The neighborhood is an area of modest homes with several empty lots and ongoing construction. They looked in trash bins, searched a wooded area behind the home and explored houses under construction nearby. About 6 p.m., officers seemed to zero in on a house with an unfinished garage just across the street from Aniston's house.

Police sent dogs through the home several times, and groups of investigators walked through the garage and looked beneath a pile of building materials in front of the garage.
