Morning forecast: Showers, colder temps

A 70-percent chance of showers and possibly a thunderstorm are expected Wednesday ahead of a cold front, according to the National Weather Service.

A wind advisory will be in effect from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. with southwest winds at 15 mph-20 mph becoming west between 25 mph-30 mph in the afternoon. Wind gusts could be as high as 40 mph. 

Temperatures will fall to around 41 degrees by 5 p.m.
