Staff Reports • Dec 15, 2015 at 2:44 PM

Morris Anderson, a big game hunter and fishermen, will be the featured speaker under a big tent Saturday at 4 p.m. on the property of Silver Springs Baptist Church on Lebanon Road at Benders Ferry in Mt. Juliet.

After a meal that will feature, fish, deer, barbeque, elk, bison and gumbo with all the trimmings, Anderson will tell about his hunting and fishing experiences on five continents and many states.  He will share how he was hooked on outdoor sports as a boy from the time his dad took him hunting. His talks are humorous, captivating, and life applicable, church organizers said.

In addition to food and Anderson’s talk, there will be door prizes for those in attendance. Those in attendance will have a chance to win a muzzleloader, compound hunting bows, a discount on a hunting trip and more.

Pastor Russ Stephens and the Silver Springs Church family invite all area residents to join them for the event. There is no charge for the banquet.
