Boy Scouts retire flags

Staff Reports • Mar 28, 2014 at 7:00 PM

Members from Boy Scout Troop 360 prepare two large U.S. flags for retirement. Serra Chevy, GMC and Buick Motor Group donated the flags. When flags become damaged or worn beyond repair, they may be retired in a special retirement ceremony. The scouts of Troop 360 believe all flags, after serving their country, deserve a proper and dignified retirement. If anyone has a flag ready to be retired and would like for it to be included in a ceremony, contact Troop 360 Scoutmaster James Sims at 614-414-3823, and arraignments will be made. Troop 360 is chartered by Dillon Cabinets and Mill Works and meets at First United Methodist Church on W. Main Street in Lebanon.
