Southeast Impressions has been serving Lebanon for 17 years. The screen printing company that serves Wilson and several surrounding counties, is owned by Janyce and Terry Spurlock.
The couple moved to Lebanon in 1982. Terry helped open up Heritage Federal Bank and Janyce started a laboratory called Southeast Regional lab. They both worked together to build the lab, which was one of the first in the Southeast to offer mobile X-ray and drug testing. The couple sold the business in 1993 and began Southeast Impressions.
The two-person operation grew into a six-person small business within two years.
Janyce said she “loves a challenge,” and that the business has kept everyone busy. Especially this time of year.
“Right now we are in the middle of ball season, and we do the jerseys for a lot of the local leagues.” She mentioned a league in Alexandria as well as Lebanon Girls Softball Association and Lebanon Youth Baseball as a few of their clients.
“I remember them being there until three in the morning on Friday nights and beginning at 6 a.m. on Saturdays just to make sure they made the customer happy and got the job done on time,” said the Spurlock’s son, Ben, who also works at SEI. The operation has grown over the years and currently has 13 employees and just opened a new location, on Leeville Pike in Lebanon.
