First Freedom Bank welcomes John Hawkins

John Hawkins joined First Freedom Bank recently as a relationship specialist, according to J.B. Owens, senior vice president and director of commercial banking.
In his new position, Hawkins will work with new and existing customers to fulfill their lending needs.
Hawkins was previously employed at Wilson Bank & Trust, where he was a collections officer and consumer lender for more than five years.
“We are delighted to have John as a part of our bank’s relationship management team here at First Freedom,” said Owens. “He is a high-quality person who genuinely wants to give back to his community, and it is people like John that really help First Freedom make a difference. We look forward to seeing John grow with our company in the coming years.”
Hawkins earned his bachelor of science in finance from Tennessee Technological University in 2007.
He has served on the committee for Wilson County Relay for Life for the past three years, and is serving again this year. He is also a volunteer for Sherry’s Run and a member of College Hills Church of Christ in Lebanon.
A native of Gainesboro, Hawkins lives in Lebanon.
