What's for Dinner?: Special tofu
Updated May 29, 2014 at 1:20 PM
It’s time for summer break, and we all have family returning home from college, bringing new friends, etc.
As we get to catch up with them, we find out they have become vegan, don’t eat meat and then you realize you have no idea what to make.
Throughout my training, I have made a name for myself being able to create amazing vegetarian and vegan dishes.
This is one of my coolest tofu dishes, and always receives great reviews.
Enjoy and impress that new family member home from college.
1 package of tofu
½ tsp. of sesame oil
1 tsp. of Bliss maple syrup
¼ cup of Tamari soy sauce
Mix Tamari, Bliss maple syrup and sesame oil in a bowl. Cut tofu into half.
Marinade the tofu in the mixture for 15 minutes.
Bake for 15-20 minutes, then slice off pieces to serve.
