ESC Lab Sciences announces Johnny Mitchell as new company president

ESC Lab Sciences selected Johnny Mitchell recently to lead the company as president. 

“We are very pleased to add Johnny to our team,” said CEO Peter Schulert. “He brings industry leadership and creative ideas that will serve to strengthen our presence in current markets and assist in moving us forward into other environmental sectors.” 

Mitchell’s resume represents 25 years of experience in the environmental industry. He received his bachelor of science degree in biochemistry from David Lipscomb College in Nashville and began his career as an analytical chemist, advancing into multiple areas of responsibility. His experience represents global commercial programs and contracting in conjunction with technical oversight of high-level projects for various federal programs, including the Department of Defense. 

He previously served as a national program director and is accomplished in business practices that require leadership, budgeting, business development and strategic planning. 

“Johnny’s extensive background and industry acuity provides a valuable addition to the continued prosperity of ESC Lab Sciences and their vision to be the lab of choice for the environmental testing community,” Schulert said.
