ABC’s hit television show, “Nashville,” made a foray into Wilson County Friday.
The show filmed scenes for an upcoming episode at Lebanon’s Five Oaks Country Club for part of the day.
“We just feel very privileged that they chose our course,” said Sherry Lester, Five Oaks Country Club Membership Director and Club Administrator. “Everybody’s been wonderful to work with, from the producers and writers.”
She said one of the location managers was in town and had played the course once before seven years ago. He took pictures to show the producers and writers.
“The producers and the writers came back out and they loved it, and the rest has been kind of history,” said Lester.
The Grammy-nominated show set in Nashville stars Connie Britton as a fading country music superstar and Hayden Panattiere as a rising young star.
The show’s third season will premier Sept. 24.
