Lebanon man dies after head-on wreck

A Lebanon man died after a head-on crash Wednesday.

Curry Sampson, 66, of Lebanon, was pronounced dead at University Medical Center Wednesday after he was involved in a head-on crash shortly before 11:30 a.m. near 337 W. Baddour Pkwy., said Lebanon police.

Police believe Curry was traveling west on West Baddour in a 2014 Ford Fiesta when he crossed into the eastbound lane and hit a 2000 Ford Expedition driven by Joanna Sherrill, 74, of Lebanon.

Sherrill was treated at UMC for non-life-threatening injuries.

Police believe Curry may have experienced a medical emergency before the crash.

Traffic Crash Reconstructionist Wayne Howard is handling the investigation.

Police believe both drivers were wearing their seat belts at the time of the crash.
