“Pick me, pick me!” Tippy is 30 pounds of enjoyment and exuberance. He’s all dressed up in his bow tie because he wants you to see what a dapper fellow he is. This 2 1/2 year old Red Heeler mix is mostly white with reddish-brown markings. Tippy was found as a stray by his foster family and is still waiting patiently for his forever home.
Tippy plays enthusiastically with the other dogs at his foster home and is the epitome of energy and fun. He’d be perfect for someone active: whether it’s long walks, jogging or riding a bike while he trots beside you. Tippy would really enjoy living somewhere with lots of land or a fenced backyard in which to play. Tippy loves soccer balls and would ‘play’ soccer for hours if you’d let him. (Check out his video on our website.)
Tippy is very smart as he seems to be potty trained and knows ‘sit’, ‘down’, ‘treat’ as well as ‘go for a ride’. Tippy loves bath time too because he knows that usually means he gets to go for a ride somewhere. He probably shouldn’t go to a home with cats, as they are way too tempting and too much fun to chase. Tippy also seems to get more ‘excitable’ around certain dogs, so slow introductions would be best. The ‘Tipster’ is very smart though and very eager to please. A very cute thing to note about Tippy is that he will give hugs and kisses by wrapping his paws around his person and then will lick away. He is extremely affectionate.
Tippy has been neutered, is micro-chipped and is current on vaccinations. With an approved application and a $65 adoption fee (he is sponsored by a fan), you can take this happy dude home. Call the Adoption Center to find out how you can meet Tippy. All New Leash on Life dogs must be adopted to families willing to have their pets be allowed inside – especially at night.
Clarence is a stunning 1 year old, 10 pound, grey and white Tabby. He is very friendly and loves getting attention and sometimes gives little “love nips” when he is done with the head scratches and chins rubs. So a home with older children would probably be best for Clarence.
He gets along with other cats or at least tolerates them in our open cat room. Clarence came to New Leash on Life to find his forever inside home. The area where he lived was having problems with cats being poisoned and the individual who brought him to us wanted to make sure he could live his life inside where he’d be loved and safe. Clarence is litter box trained, neutered, micro-chipped and current on vaccinations. Adopt Clarence for $85 and make him your new forever friend. Adoption Center Policy: All cats must be indoor only and shall not be declawed.
