Lady Saints stomp Webb School

Mt. Juliet Christian's Lady Saints took advantage of 26 turnovers to earn a 41-27 victory over Webb School Saturday.
The win moved the Lady Saints to 11-8 on the season.
Webb held a slim 10-7 lead at the end of the first period before Mt. Juliet Christian took control and went into the locker room leading 24-12 at the half.
Christine Humes had 16 points for the Lady Saints to lead all scorers. Also for Mt. Juliet Christian, Kristin Tewmey added eight, Anna Haley put in six, Lauren Bean four, Paige Hudson three and Leanna Sanders ans Callie Beard each had two.
The Lady Saints travel to take on Westmoreland Tuesday.

A last second attempt from Blake Marsh missed the mark as the Saints of Mt. Juliet Christian went down 38-36 against Webb School Saturday.
With the loss, the Saints dropped to 9-10 for the season.
Mt. Juliet Christian was down by two at the half, 15-13, before coming back to tie the game at 22 at the end of the third quarter.
Webb's Hunter Foutch led the scoring with 16 points.
Bryce Middleton fired in 14 to lead the way for the Saints. Marsh tossed in 10, Victor Underwood nine and Austin Wortman a three-pointer.
Mt. Juliet Christian will travel to Westmoreland Tuesday at 6 p.m.
