MJ Christian outkicks Colts

WHITE HOUSE — Five Saints scored Monday as Mt. Juliet Christian held off Christian Community 5-3.
Ethan Luffman kicked Deano Richards' pass 25 yards from the left corner into the right corner of the net to stake the Saints to a 1-0 lead.
Noa Stroop converted John Adcock's pass into another score 10 minutes later. Steven Swords' penalty kick lifted Mt. Juliet Christian to a 3-0 lead.
Community Christian scored just before halftime to climb within 3-1.
Corey Wills headed Dylan Gammon's throw in into the net for a 4-1 lead.
Community Christian scored two straight goals to climb within 4-3 before Richards scored off a Dylan Bradshaw assist with eight minutes left.
The Saints outshot the Colts 28-16 as Mt. Juliet Christian pulled even at 5-5-2 for the season. Justin Branim finished with five saves for MJCA.
Mt. Juliet Christian will host Station Camp at 6:30 p.m. Thursday in a District 8-A-AA match.
