Laura Bentley

Funeral services for Mrs. Bentley will be 11 a.m. Saturday, June 16 at Sellars Funeral Home with Pastor Tom Henry and Dr. Jonathan Richerson officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday from 4-8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service Saturday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Bentley, 78, of Lebanon, died at home Wednesday, June 13, 2012. She was a graduate of Lebanon High School and attended Nashville Business School. From 1951 to 1959, she served as Administrative/Executive Assistant for various companies. From 1959 to 1967, she dedicated her life to raising her family.

In 1967, she started as a part time secretary at the Lebanon/Wilson County Chamber of Commerce. She became the 13th Executive Director in 1970 where she actively served for 23 years.

During that time, she served on the Industrial Development Board of Wilson County, the Wilson County Citizens Advisory Group on Economic Development, Joint Economic and Community Development Board of Wilson County, the Wilson County Intergovernmental Advisory and Planning Committee, the Greater Nashville Tourism Committee, the Tennessee Chamber of Commerce Executive Committee, the Middle Tennessee Chamber Directors, the Four Lake Regional Industrial Development Association, the Tennessee Association of Business, the Lebanon High School Task Force, the United Way, the Vision 2000, the Wilson County Fair Board, and the Homecoming ’86 Committee.

She was an active member and Sunday School teacher in the Baptist church, most recently at West Haven Baptist church.

She was preceded in death by father, Carson Vaughn.

Survivors include: husband of 56 years, Bill Bentley; mother, Sue Vaughn; brother, Bobby Vaughn; children, Micky and Marty Bentley; daughter-in-law, Rhea Anne Bentley; and grandchildren, Scott, Steven, Jessica, Emily and Ryan Bentley. . In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation or to West Haven Baptist Church.

Jaelin R. Davis
Visitation services will be Friday, June 15 from 2-7 p.m. at Neuble Monument Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Old Lebanon High School. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the Celebration at 10 a.m.
Mr. Davis, 15, of Lebanon, died Tuesday, June 12, 2012. He was born in Lebanon to Demetria C. Davis and Clayton Nunley. He gave his life to the Lord at the age of nine years old. He loved to play football and basketball at Lebanon High School, as a proud Blue Devil.
Survivors include: his parents; sisters, Jayla and Jaiya Davis; brother, Kentez Burford; grandparents, Pastor Gerald and Barbara Davis, Roy Nunley and Betty Nunley; aunts: Jamila Davis, Monique Davis, Carolyn (De’ Quan) Rhodes and Sonda (Stevie) Steverson; uncles, Gerald Davis Jr., Roy Nunley and Prentice (Andrea) Davis; and cousin, Taye Davis.
In lieu of flowers, make donations to Jaelin R. Davis at Old Hickory Credit Union.

Sam Wayne Enoch

No services are scheduled for Mr. Enoch.

Mr. Enoch, 59, died Saturday, June 9, 2012. He was employed by LoJac.

Survivors include: wife of 24 years, Connie Lee Enoch; brother, James Enoch; sisters, Virginia Enoch and Helen Tarpley; daughters, Naquelle, Lil and Rhonda; sons, Jason Enoch and James and Bill Meade; grandsons, Timothy and Nathaniel; and siblings, Billy, Charlene, Darlene, Tommy, Gene and Jerry Jones.

Gordon Wayne Roach

Services for Mr. Roach will be private.

Mr. Roach, 66, died Tuesday, June 12, 2012. He was a native of Texas but considered Tennessee his home for the last few years. He worked on oil rigs in Louisiana but spent most of his life on the road as a long distance truck driver for various entertainers.

He is preceded in death by adoptive parents Ortie Newton Roach and Viola Bruner Roach of Richardson, Texas.

He leaves no family but many friends.
