Jenkins

Charles 'Charlie' Eugene Jenkins

Services for Mr. Jenkins were 8 p.m. Monday, July 2, at Weatherford Mortuary in Oak Ridge with Pastor Freeman Tomlin officiating. Graveside services with full Military Honors will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 3 at Oak Ridge Memorial Park.

Mr. Jenkins, 84, of Knoxville and formerly of Oak Ridge and Crossville, died Friday, June 29, 2012 at Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville. He was born in Lebanon to the late Wentie Seaton Jenkins and Buna Vista Kemp Jenkins. He served during World War II in the U. S. Army occupation forces in Japan. He retired from Martin Marietta Energy Systems in 1989 where he was an expeditor at the Y-12 plant. He was a long-time member of Robertsville Baptist Church and Faith Masonic Lodge No. 756.

He was preceded in death by: parents; brothers, Conie, Garland, James and Ponie Lee.

Survivors include: son, Mike (Irene) Jenkins of Oak Ridge; daughter, Jill (Buster) Goodman of Maryville; the mother of his children, Anne Jenkins of Oak Ridge; brothers, Walter (Linda) and Robert (Ann) Jenkins, all of Murfreesboro; sisters, Polly George of Lebanon and Margaret Ann (Jerry) Agee of Cedar Hill, Texas; grandchildren, Elizabeth and Matthew Goodman of Maryville; and many nieces and nephews.

Cynthia 'Cindy' Keckler

Memorial services for Mrs. Keckler will be 11 a.m. Saturday, July 7, at Grace United Methodist Church. Visitation will be 10 a.m. until the service on Saturday.

Mrs. Keckler, 59, of San Antonio, Fla., died Wednesday, June 27, 2012. She was born in Nashville and moved to Bay Area in 2005. She was an office manager at Meridian Counseling in Dade County.

Survivors include: parents, Paul and Christine Garton; husband, Johnny; daughters, Kimberly Garcia and Carrie Adams; brothers and sisters, Bryan and Richard Garton, Joyce Swallows and Carolyn Gleaves; grandchildren, Andrew and Alex Raymer, Gabriel Garcia, Corey, Camille and Cayde Mosley and Hannah and Oliver Adams; and great-grandchildren, Bryson, Rylan and Sydney Raymer.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mrs. Keckler's memory to ALS Association, Florida Chapter, 3242 Parkside Center Circle, Tampa, FL, 33619.

Wanda Lee Kent

Chapel Services for Mrs. Kent will be 2 p.m. Thursday, July 5, at Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon, conducted by Bro. Rodney Haskins and Bro. Danny Sellars. Entombment in Wilson County Memorial Park Mausoleum will immediately follow the service. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, July 4 and noon until the service on Thursday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Kent, 62, died Monday, July 2, 2012.

Survivors include: husband, David M. Kent; children: Tina M. (Gary) Tucker, Stephanie A. Harris, Wendy Dawn Bogle, Hayward L. (Tracy) Garner, David B. Kent, Donna Jean (Billy) Carter and Tony Ray Corley; siblings, Harley (Chris) York, Jr., Dorothy Cox, Dianne Ellis, Jean Kinslow and Betty Brummett; grandchildren, Brent M. Kent, Kayla S. Tucker, Brittany M. Kent, Hailey Harris, Kelli Harris, Brandy Franklin, Austin Harris, Kimberly Garner, Kendra Tucker, Katlyn Tucker, David M. Garner and Alexi Garner; and great-grandson: Aiden A. Armstrong.

Lloyd Ledsinger

Services for Mr. Ledsinger were held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 2, at Sellars Funeral Home in Mt. Juliet with Bro. Dan Spross officiating. Interment was in Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Ledsinger, 77, of Mt. Juliet, died Friday, June 29, 2012.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Merle Ledsinger.

Survivors include: wife of 53 years, Sue Ledsinger; children, Jeff Ledsinger, Julie (Steve) Ledsinger-Nolen, John (April) Ledsinger, Jerry (Dena) Ledsinger and Jessica (Tim) Ledsinger-Hayner; brother, Raymond Ledsinger; 17 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Brandon Ledsinger, Chris Davey, Shannon Nolen, Rex Hindman, Brady Dixon, Steve Howerton and Doug Greer. Honorary Pallbearers were Stephen Nolen, Case Hayner and Jarrod Ledsinger.
