Peggy S. Burchette

Mrs. Burchette died Saturday, July 7, 2012 at Select Specialty Hospital.

She was preceded in death by: husband, Emory M. Burchette: and son, Jon.

Survivors include: sisters, Sue Britt of Sevierville, Tenn. and Karen Chase of Middletown, N.Y.; brother, Jim Stallard of Sevierville; daughter-in-law, Mary Ann Burchette of Lebanon; grandchildren, Danielle McKibben of Bradenton, Fla., Cara Thompson of Lebanon and Kathryn Burchette of Brandenton; and great-grandchildren, Hunter, Cody and Jaelynn.

Wilson County Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Rodney Wayne Garrett

A private memorial service for Mr. Garrett will be 6 p.m. Thursday, July 12, at Bethany Missionary Baptist Church in Lebanon with Bro. Ronnie Armstead officiating.

Mr. Garrett, 41, died Thursday, July 5, 2012. He was born to James Lawrence and Patricia Griffin Garrett.

He was preceded in death by: father; and grandparents, Truman Lawrence and Charlotte Alean Garrett.

Survivors include: mother Patricia (Boyd Taylor); son, Austin Kyle Garrett (son of Tana Raines Garrett); brother, Christopher Scott (Tracy) Garrett; grandparents, George Craige and Joann Griffin; many aunts, uncles and cousins; and companion, Lenette Mickle.

Austin J. Loftis

Services for Mr. Loftis will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 11, at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Shelby and Bro. John Petree officiating. Interment in Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Tuesday, July 10 and 9 a.m. until the service on Wednesdayat the funeral home.

Mr. Loftis, 84, of Lebanon, died Sunday, July 8, 2012, at University Medical Center. He was born in Sumner Co., to the late Square and Dora Medlin Loftis. He retired from AVCO with 40 years of service and was a member of Cedar Creek Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by: parents; brothers, Willie and Johnny Loftis; and sister, Zora Dee Loftis.

Survivors include: wife of 60 years, Idelle Oliver Loftis; son, Robert (Angie) Loftis of Murfreesboro; daughter, Kathy (Kenny) Winfree of Arlington, Texas; grandchildren, Keith Winfree, Ryan Loftis and Jordan Burnette; great-grandson, Solain Burnette; and brother, Lloyd (Velma) Loftis of Gallatin.

Joyce O. Wohrley

Cremation will be accorded and a memorial services for Mrs. Wohrley was held on Monday, July 9, at Davison-Fulton Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home in Peoria with the Rev. Jack Thompson officiating.

Mrs. Wohrley, 74, of Peoria, Ill., died Friday, July 6, 2012, at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria. She was born in Montgomery, Ala.

She was preceded in death by: parents; husband, Floyd Milton Wohrley; and seven siblings.

Survivors include: children, Debbie (Rick) Owen, Denise Wohrley and David Wohrley, all of Tenn. and Julie (Samir Gupta) Wohrley of Peoria; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
