Brodhead

Richard J. Brodhead

Church Services with Military Honors for Mr. Brodhead will be 10 a.m. Saturday, July 28, at the Episcopal Church of the Epiphany in Lebanon. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday, July 27, at Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon.

Mr. Brodhead died Thursday, July 26, 2012. He was a native of Key West Fla. He received his Associates Degree at Cumberland University, his Bachelors at MTSU, and his law degree at Vanderbilt. He was a veteran of the United States Navy, a former Lebanon City Attorney, and a former Lebanon City Judge. He was a member of the Bar Association, he served on the Board of Law Examiners, a board member of the Wilson County Help Center, he was a Shriner and a thirty-second degree Mason. He was a member and past Senior Warden of the Episcopal Church of the Epiphany.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George J. and Imogene Sharrar Brodhead.

Survivors include: wife of 24 years Judy Nollner Brodhead; children: Tara (Mark) Morton and Jeremy (Misti) Creswell; and grandchildren: Dalton Odgon, Olivia Morton, Abby Morton, Samantha Payne, Trent Payne and Kevin Creswell.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are requested to the Episcopal Church of the Epiphany.

The family extends a special thank you to Odyssey Hospice and Home Instead.

Henry Davis

Services for Mr. Davis will be 11 a.m. Saturday, July 28, at Partlow Funeral Chapel with Bro. Garry Drennon officiating. Interment in Bethlehem Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday, July 27 and 10 a.m. until the service on Saturday at the funeral home.

Mr. Davis, 68, died Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at University Medical Center. He was a member of the Baptist faith, a former fireman with the City of Lebanon and a retired employee with Consolidated Freight.

He was preceded in death by: parents, James T. 'Jiggs' and Ella Thorne Davis; son, Roger Davis; and grandson, Brandon Davis.

Survivors include: wife, Jean Davis; grandchildren, Dalton and Ashley Davis; brother, Kenneth Davis; sisters, Ruthie (Ronnie) Henslee and Frankie Davis; niece, Tracy Webb; and nephew, Jonathan Rollin.

Family and friends will serve as Pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the Kidney Foundation.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the employees of One North Tower at University Medical Center and Odyssey Hospice.
