Winnard

Kathryn 'Kat' Lasater Beadle

Services for Mrs. Beadle will be 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 12, at Fall Creek Baptist Church with the Revs. Hunter Hay and Billy Trice officiating. Interment in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, at Hunter Funeral Home in Watertown and 1 p.m. until the service on Sunday at the church.

Mrs. Beadle, 82, of Watertown, died Friday, Aug. 10, 2012 at her home. She was a retired Norene Postmaster, a graduate of Watertown High School and she attended Fall Creek Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by: parents, James L. and Ollie D. Edwards Beadle; husband of 57 years, Kenneth D. Beadle; and son, Dayton Lee Beadle.

Survivors include: daughter, Deanna (Dennis) P. Wood of Norene; grandsons, Matthew D. and Jacob K. Wood of Norene; sister-in-law, Betty (James) Porterfield of Greenvale; friend and caregiver, Sandy Mack; and Corinne Beadle and family.

Pallbearers will be Bob Beadle, Thomas Williams, Scott Porterfield, Andy Robinson, Terry Wood, Harold Edwards and Aaron Simonis.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fall Creek Baptist Stained Glass Fund.

Betty Nadine Winnard

Services for Mrs. Winnard will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, at Gordonsville Chapel of Bass Funeral Homes with Bro. Floyd Massey officiating. Interment in Gordonsville Cemetery. Visitation will be 9 a.m. until the service on Saturday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Winnard, 94, of Gordonsville, died Thursday, Aug. 9, 2012 at her home. She was born in Lancaster, Tenn. to the late Mollie James Denney and James Everett Maynard. She worked for the Welsh Company and was a member of the Gordonsville United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by: parents; husband, Aubrey Clay Winnard; siblings Robert, Eddie Lee, Elmer and John Maynard, Mildred Grantham and Alene Fish.

Survivors include: son, Clay (Jeanne) Winnard of Cookeville; granddaughters, Angela (Bryant) Griffin of Smyrna and Brittney (Karl) Radke of Chattanooga; and great-granddaughters, Katie-Anne and Sarah-Beth Griffin.
