Charles Edward Adams
Graveside services for Mr. Adams will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 9 at Poplar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be at Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon (at Stone Mansion, 416 Rome Pike) on Saturday from 2-6 p.m.
Mr. Adams, 79, died Thursday, Sept. 6, 2012.
He was preceded in death by parents, Tommy and Etta Adams; brother, Ernest Adams; and sister, Edna Crow.
Survivors include: children, Tina Adams Armstrong and Patricia, Cathie and Clayton (Kim) Adams; grandchildren, Brooke Taylor and Matt, Magen, Hannah and Aleigha Adams; and great-grandchildren: Alexis and and Jac Cleaver.
Richard John White
A Rosary service for Mr. White will be Friday, Sept. 7 at 7 p.m. in the Partlow Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be Friday from 2-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be Saturday, Sept. 8 at 1 p.m. at St. Francis Catholic Church. Father Michael O’Bryan will officiate. Interment will be in Wilson County Memorial Gardens.
Mr. White, 71, died Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2012 at University Medical Center. He was a member of St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church and a retired employee of Campbell Hausfeld.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Leo and Verge Esther Peterson White; son, Mark Patrick White; his wife’s parents, Lester C. and Genevieve Schade; stepfather, Clem Alig.
Survivors include: wife of 50 years, Linda White; son, John (Eve) White of Lebanon; daughters, Jenni (Brian) Jones of Virginia, Lisa White of Mt. Juliet and Jolie (Tony) Britt of Lebanon; grandchildren, Emily, Heather and Nicole Jones, Alex, Mark, Evan and Aiden Britt and Veronica, Logan and Gigi White; brother, Jay (Bobbi) White of Arkansas; sisters, Margaret (Clarence) Groff of South Carolina and Kathy (Jack) Smith of Nebraska; stepsister, Jean (Dale) Anderson; stepbrother, Jerry Alig.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the Mark P. White Memorial Scholarship Fund, c/o Cumberland University, 1 Cumberland Place, Lebanon, TN 37087.
Jere Lee Yount
Memorial services for Mrs. Yount will be 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 8 at Temple Baptist Church on Coles Ferry Pike in Lebanon with pastor Rodney Haskins officiating.
Mrs. Yount, 78, died Saturday, Sept. 1 at UMC hospital. She was a longtime resident of Wilson County, the last 10 -12 years at Northwood Apts. in Lebanon. She worked in housecleaning at McFarland and UMC hospitals for most of her career.
Survivors include: husband, Johnny Ray Yount Sr.; daughters, Marcia Cooper, Beverly Whitehead and Regina Stewart; granddaughter, Angie Johnston; sons, Johnny Ray Jr. Richard, Roger, Bobby and Bennie Yount; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
