Peggy Jo Willis Ford
Funeral services for Ms. Ford, conducted by Bro. Danny Sellars and Bro. Ronald Haskins, will be Friday, Oct. 26, 2012 at noon. Interment will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon (at Stone Mansion, 416 Rome Pike) Thursday from 3-8 p.m. and Friday from 11 a.m. until the service.
Ms. Ford passed away Oct. 23, 2012.
Survivors include her children, Carrie Nyssen and Cory Ford; mother, Irene Willis; siblings, David Kent, Gene (Edith) Kent, and Terry (Misty) Willis; and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, Carsie Willis.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Sellars Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
R.V. Bush Prewett
Funeral services for Mrs. Prewett are scheduled for Friday, Oct. 26 at 1 p.m. at Ligon and Bobo Funeral Home with Bro. Russ Stephens and Bro. Glenn Denton officiating. Interment will be in Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Thursday from 2-8 p.m. and Friday after 10 a.m. at Ligon and Bobo.
Mrs. Prewett, of Lebanon, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2012, at her home.
Born May 8, 1927, in Wilson County, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Minnie Dickens Bush. She was a retired nurse and a homemaker. She was a member at Hillcrest Baptist Church. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, LLL Club, and the Lebanon Senior Citrizens Center.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alex J. Prewett; two sisters, Dorothy Dishman and Thelma Jenkins; and two brothers, Earl and Luther Bush.
She is survived by daughter, Cathy (Rusty) Butler; three grandchildren, Jennifer (Jason) Rickman, Jeff (Kay) Milligan and Amanda Lynn; for great-grandchildren, Maisey Belcher, Nolan Milligan, Trevor Milligan, and Aiden Rickman; great great grandchild, Ellie Graves.
Memorials may be made to the Lebanon Senior Citizens Center.
Pallbearers are Stallie Bush, Thomas Bubba Prewett, Darrell Jenkins, Tony Bush, Gary Bush, Bobby Bush, Jeff Milligan and Jason Rickman.
John “Pete” Robertson
The funeral service, conducted by Bro. Gary Owens, is Sunday, Oct. 28, 2012 at 1 p.m. Interment will be in Wilson County Memorial Gardens. The family will be receiving friends at Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon (at Stone Mansion, 416 Rome Pike) on Saturday from 4-8 p.m. and on Sunday from noon until the service.
Mr. Robertson, 63, passed away on Oct. 23, 2012.
Survivors include his children, John Robertson, Jr., Katrina S. Mason, Timothy Robertson, John Robertson, DeQuinta Robertson; caretaker, Alyssa McCloud; aunt, Ruth Grady; brother-in-law, Sidney Allen Sr.; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; and special friends, Michelle Hight and Jonathan Clevenger. He was preceded in death by daughter, Letetia E. Robertson; parents, Jessie and Sallie Lee Myers Robertson; sisters, Myrtle Allen and Catherine Robertson; and brother, James “Slide” Robertson.
Pallbearers are Frank Corder, Freeman Corder, Johnny Clevenger, Daniel Corder, John Dodd and Chris Corder.
