Audrey Vivian Robertson Bryan
Viewing for Mrs. Bryan will be at Cloverdale Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2012. Interment will be held at the Idaho Veterans Cemetery in a private ceremony.
Mrs. Bryan passed away on Dec. 19, 2012. Audrey was born in Nashville, on Nov. 21, 1929, to Thomas Miles Robertson and Elsie Hodge Robertson. Audrey was raised in Lebanon, where she graduated from high school and attended Cumberland University. She was married for 60 years to Charles W. Bryan. She raised her five children all over the world while Charles served in the USAF. Audrey was the consummate officer’s wife while keeping the children in line. For the last 40 years, Audrey and Charles resided in Boise, Idaho where she was a member of the Church of Christ.
Audrey is survived by her husband, Charles, her five children, Charlie (Quinét), Tom (Karin), Sam (Tisha), Susan (John Willingham) and Janet (Marty Lain); her 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Thomas Edwin Robertson.
The family would like to give special thanks to the staff of the Life Care Center of Treasure Valley for the loving care given to Audrey and her family. The grandchildren are quoted as, “Mama is having a party up there! But we miss you Mama!”
James ‘Jim’ Matthew Sparks
Mr. Sparks, 79, of Hartsville, died Thursday at Baptist Hospital in Nashville.
Graveside services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Dixon Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from noon until 1 p.m. at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home.
