Sammie Ethelene Frye
The family of Mrs. Frye will receive friends Thursday, Jan. 10 from 4-8 p.m. and from noon until the time of service at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 11 at Woodfin Funeral Chapel in Smyrna. Bro. Joe Clark will officiate. Burial will follow at the Brush Creek Cemetery. Mrs. Frye’s grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
Mrs. Frye, 94, of Smyrna, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013. A native of Smith County, Tenn. she was the daughter of the late Samuel Fuller and Jennie Bell Farmer Fuller.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, David Haskel Frye who died in 1993. Mrs. Frye was a member of Stones River Baptist Church and retired from Lebanon Precision Rubber Company.
Mrs. Frye is survived by her two daughters, Eleanor Walker of Smyrna and Jennie (Claude) Clements of Brentwood; seven grandchildren, Rickey (Sharon) Walker, Kimberly Walker, David (Tammy) Walker, Michael (Melanie) Walker, Kellie Clements, Kerrie Clements (Jason) Hall and Claudia Clements (David) Emfinger; 10 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank The Christian Care Center, Smyrna, Tenn. for the loving care and kindness shown to Mrs. Frye.

Funeral services for Mr. Ricketts will be 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 11 at Hunter Funeral Home with the Rev. Billy Trice and the Rev. Greg Bell officiating. Visitation will be from noon-8 p.m. Thursday and 10 a.m. till service time Friday. Interment will be at Wilson County Memorial Park in Lebanon.
Mr. Ricketts, 84, of Lebanon, died Tuesday evening, Jan. 8, 2013 at Quality Care Health Center. Son of the late J.H. and Annie Johnson Ricketts, he was preceded in death by brothers, Riley and Johnnie Gilford Ricketts and sisters, Annie Mae Wright, Marie Hutchinson and Lillian Cressman. Ray was a member of Fall Creek Baptist Church and was an avid horseman and small game hunter. He was employed many years in construction and retired from the City of Lebanon.
Ray is survived by his wife of 59 years, Jean Bailey Ricketts; daughter, Anita Hodges and husband, Joe; brother, William "Snooky" Ricketts; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.
Active pallbearers will be Ricky Wright, Randy Ricketts, Barry Ricketts, Timmy and Ramsey Goolsby, Bobby Crook and Charles Ricketts. Honorary Pallbearers, Junior Gibbs, Bobby James, Sam Swindell, Ray Robinson, Jim Goodall, Matthew Martin, J.D. Butler, Charlie Hall, Terry McPeak and friends at Four Winds and Norene General Store. The family wishes to thank Dr. Larimore Warren, Dr. Roger McKinney and staff and the Quality Rehab Center staff.
