Help Center gets unusual donation

The Wilson County Community Help Center gets a lot of donations from the public. Recently, the center got an unusual donation in an unusual way.

Wilson County Community Help Center officials hope a local coin expert can give the agency a free evaluation of a  silver dollar anonomiously donated to the center.

 

The Wilson County Community Help Center gets a lot of donations from the public. Recently, the center got an unusual donation in an unusual way.

Director Gail Proctor said a center employee was surprised to find a circa 1880 silver dollar secured in a small plastic bag sitting on an empty shelf in the thrift store.
