Sgt. Dickey Cherry
Funeral services for Sgt. Cherry were conducted on Sunday from the Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette with Denny King officiating. Interment followed in the Anderson & Son Memorial Park.
Sgt. Cherry, 63, of Lebanon, passed away on Feb. 16, 2013. He was married to the former Cathy Lambert on Nov. 21, 1975, who survives. Sgt. Cherry was a 1st degree Mason and was retired from the Tennessee Highway Patrol where he began working in 1974. He was a Missionary Baptist in belief.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his mother, Juanita Cherry, Red Boiling Springs; son, John Miller, Lebanon; brothers, Rickey (Charlotte) Cherry, Lafayette, Mickey (Tamara) Cherry; sister, Michelle (Kevin) Sexton, all of Lafayette; grandchildren, Christopher and Cody Miller; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers were the THP Honor Guard.
Thomas Oakley Haralson
Mr. Haralson, 85, died Friday at Christian Care in Smyrna.
Mr. Haralson is to be cremated and a celebration of life family gathering will take place at a later date. Partlow Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Austin Steve Mobley
Services for Mr. Mobley will be 3 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20 at Hermitage Funeral Home with Carol Wheeler and Lee McGahey officiating. Interment will be in Hermitage Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and noon until the service Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Mobley, 59, died Feb. 16, 2013. He was employed in the paint department at Peterbilt.
He was preceded in death by wife of over 44 years, Mary B. Mobley; son, Michael Mobley; daughters, Tresa (Dannie) Romines and Melissa Mobley; grandchildren, Justin (Danielle) Eldridge, Kody Mobley, Kelsey (Brad) Parker, Marissa Mobley, Taylor Mobley, Mikey Mobley, Austin Mobley and Alex Mobley; great-grandchildren, Alissa, Addison, Elijah, Grace, Faith, Norah and Mylei; sisters, Judy (Bobby) Gann and Pat (Arch) Dobson; sisters-in-law, Carol Wheeler and Bernice (Tommy) Pettit; and brother-in-law, Joe Morrow.
Pallbearers will be Justin Eldridge, Kody Mobley, Mikey Mobley, Dannie Romines, Kevin Wolverton and Shane Bratton.
Ilene Jean Pauley
Ms. Pauley, 77, of Mt. Juliet, died Saturday.
Graveside services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens.
Arrangements are by Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet.
Gertrude "Trudy" Catignani Bennett
Funeral Mass for Mrs. Bennett will be noon Wednesday, Feb. 20 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church with Father Mark Hunt officiating. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at Hermitage Funeral Home with a Rosary service at 7 p.m. Visitation will be held 10 a.m. until the service Wednesday at the church.
Mrs. Bennett, 78, died Feb. 16, 2013.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Josephine Catignani; four brothers; and two sisters.
Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Paul R. Bennett; sons, Paul R. (Kathy) Bennett II, Andrew Bennett and Marvin (Diane) Bennett; daughters, Michelle (Scot) Bennett and Mary (Johnny) Rutherford; sisters, June Marie Walden and Aida (Ken) McCarver; 10 grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be grandsons. Memorial gifts in honor of Mrs. Bennett may be made to the American Heart Association.
