John Williams Sr.

Jamie Griffin Creswell

Visitation for Mrs. Creswell will be held on Friday, April 12 from 4-8 p.m. and Saturday, April 13 from 10 a.m. until funeral services at 11 a.m. in the Partlow Funeral Chapel. Interment will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery.

Mrs. Creswell, 72, passed away Wednesday April 10, 2013. She was a member of College Hills Church of Christ, a former board member of the Lebanon Special School District and a Planning Assistant with the Wilson County Planning Commission.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Helen Eakes Griffin; husband, Jimmy Creswell.

She is survived by daughter, Lisa (Christopher) Groce; sons, Mark (Denise) Creswell, Chet Creswell, Jim (Jayme) Creswell, Josh (Mary Beth) Creswell; grandchildren, Judson and Kathleen Groce, Hannah and Graham Creswell, Preston and Garner Creswell, Griffin and Drew Creswell; brothers, Roy (Barbara)

Griffin and Joe (Martha) Griffin; sister, Anna Jackson; many nieces and nephews.

Active pallbearers will be Mark, Chet, Jim and Josh Creswell, Spook Spickard and Mitchell Griffin. Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Creswell, Ann and Ernest Sanders.

Barbara Jean "Grammy" Mangrum

Services for Ms. Mangrum, conducted by Bro. Glenn Denton, will be 2 p.m. Saturday, April 13 at Hillcrest Baptist Church in Lebanon (at 621 Hartsville Pike) with visitation one hour prior to service. Interment will be in Wilson County Memorial Gardens. The family will be receiving friends Friday from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Ms. Mangrum , 58, passed away on April 10, 2013.

She was preceded in death by father, Joe Ben Mangrum Sr.; mother, Louvell (Clarence) Brown; brother, Joe Ben Mangrum Jr.; sister, Sandra Leighty; and brother-in-law, Gary Anderson.

Survivors include children, Christina (Matthew) O’Brien and Joseph (Jan) Sisco; stepmother, Klara Mangrum; sisters, Debra (Jake) Leighty and Nickie Anderson; grandchildren, Hunter Brockway, Logan Brockway, Kayla Sisco, Wyatt O’Brien, C.J. Smith, Nicole Smith and Alexis Smith; great-granddaughter, Kylie Smith; and faithful dog, Betty.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Sellars Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

John Tarpley Williams Sr. (T/Sgt. Ret.)

Funeral services for Mr. Williams will be held on Sunday, April 14 at 2 p.m. in the Partlow Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be on Saturday, April 13 from 4-8 p.m. in the Partlow Funeral Chapel and on Sunday one hour prior to the service. Minister Lois Taucher will officiate and interment will follow in the Cedar Grove Cemetery.

Mr. Williams, 83, of Murfreesboro and formerly of Lebanon, passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2013. Mr. Williams was a man of valor who courageously served his country in the United States Air Force for 21 years. He was drafted during the Korean Conflict and served two tours in Vietnam. He and his family served at bases all over the United States and Germany. He was a member of the Civil Engineers and the elite Red Horse division of which he was very proud.

He was preceded in death by parents, Sammy Baker and Lois Tarpley Williams; brothers, Sam, Merlin and Terry Williams and sister-in-law, Gloria Williams.

He is survived by wife of 59 years, Alene Fields Williams; sons, Hank Williams of Murfreesboro, Timothy Jo Williams of Murfreesboro and Mark Edward (Melanie) Williams of Yugo, Guam; daughters, Lois Alene Williams (Ray) Taucher of Tulsa, Okla. and Lynda Kaye Williams (Adrian Michael Wilson) of Murfreesboro; four beloved grandchildren, Vanessa Williams (Jae) Ji and Luke, Alena and Levi Williams; four beloved step-grandchildren, Demetria, Michael, Darren and Mitch Castro, all of Guam; brothers, Paul (Jamie) Williams of Laguardo, George (Henrietta) Williams of Cookeville, Bob Williams of Watertown, Bill (Mary) Williams of Lebanon and Fred (Glenda) Williams of Lebanon; and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
