The jersey of Cumberland All-American Jessica Pace will be displayed in the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame for the next year as part of the “Ring of Honor” in recognition of outstanding play for the 2012-13 season.

The Hall of Fame, located in Knoxville, uses the “Ring of Honor” as a way of fulfilling its mission to “honor the past, celebrate the present and promote the future” of women’s basketball. The Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame displays the jerseys of high school and collegiate All-Americans from the previous season in the “Ring of Honor.”

Pace, a Nashville native and former Hillsboro High School star, was named second team All-America after leading the Bulldogs with 12.8 points and 7.8 rebounds per game. She also ranked second on the club with 2.1 assists per outing, as Cumberland won the Mid-South Conference regular season and conference tournament championships. The club reached the Fab Four for the second time in school history and posted a program-best 33-3 record.
