From staff reports

MT. JULIET — Mt. Juliet was stopped one game short of Wilson County's first TSSAA state soccer tournament by a 2-1 loss to visiting Ravenwood in Saturday night's sectional.

The Raptors scored both their goals in the first half.

Mt. Juliet's Cameron Woodfin was denied a goal late in the first half by an offsides call after he beat two defenders.

Woodfin did find the net which counted with less than five minutes to play, the junior's  20th goal of the season to go with nine assists and 49 stat points, the most in Mt. Juliet soccer history.

The Golden Bears finished a 13-8-3 season.
