Wilson Post edged Sports World 8-7 and Legend's Car Wash outscored Cross Style 5-4 in Kiwanis Little League major-league action Tuesday night at Baird Park's Gallaher-Harding Complex.
The games on Kiwanis' other field went the opposite way as Rose Tire shut out Gary's Mobile Detail 27-0 and Lebanon Monument rolled past Farm Bureau 24-2.
Will Burruss and Grayson Brockman each banged out two hits for Wilson Post while winning pitcher Jacob Belcher added one.
Justin Kumpf collected a pair of hits and Sean Waldron an inside-the-park home run for Sports World.
Stealth Moss and Carter Brown each banged out two hits and Jordan Cason and Jordan Everrett one apiece for Car Wash.
Dylan Goolsby had Cross Style's only hit.
Tyler Wiggins threw a three-inning no-hitter for Rose Tire.
In Rotary Dixie Youth major-league action, First Freedom outscored THW 8-6 as Logan Hawks and Damian Collins each collected a pair of singles to help Taylor Gaines to the win.
Austin Bush doubled for THW.
Wilson Bank & Trust won the other game by forfeit over Painturo's.
At David B. Penuel Memorial Field, Alex Cook and Addison Clinton drove in three runs each for Agee & Johnson in a 15-2 win over Wilson County Motors before Josh Folkerts knocked in three runs and pitched Ligon & Bobo to a 5-0 shutout of Dugdale.
Clinton cracked a pair of doubles and Cook a couple of singles while winning pitcher Ben Vance had an RBI on three singles. Dillion Kenner delivered a two-run single, Bryson Blackburn and Garrison Goodwin an RBI single each and Dalton Massey a single.
Wyatt Evans doubled and singled while Spencer Sorce doubled home a Wilson County Motors run.
Folkerts hit a two-run double and an RBI single while striking out 13 in a complete-game, five-inning four-hitter. Matthew Winfree and Mack Reeder also racked up an RBI single apiece.
Jagger Pirtle had one of Dugdale's four singles while striking out 10. Joshua Haynes, J.D. Usrey and Nathan Rowlett racked up the other hits.
