Lena Reeder

Donnie Davenport

No services are scheduled for Mr. Davenport.

Mr. Davenport, 67, passed away on July 21, 2013.

Survivors include: children, Lori Davenport and Troy Davenport; grandchild, Cosmo Davenport; siblings, Bessie Mai Carter, David Davenport, Reba Patton and Bonnie Crenshaw; sister, Margaret Davenport Crofutt; brother-in-law, Duane (Leigh) Crofutt; and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by: parents, Robert E. Lee Milos Davenport and Josie Mai Aldridge Davenport; and siblings, John, Jack, Earl “Odell” and William Davenport. Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon is in charge of arrangements.

Wanda Boyd Newbold

Mrs. Newbold, 75, originally from Madison, died Thursday.

Memorial services were Monday at 4 p.m. at Bond Memorial Chapel. Visitation was Monday at 3 p.m. at the funeral home.

Lena Mae Reeder

Funeral services for Mrs. Reeder will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Hunter Funeral Home with the Rev. Gary Rickman and the Rev. Tommy Curtis officiating. Visitation will be prior to services on Tuesday. Interment will be at Poplar Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Reeder, 93, of Alexandria, died Saturday morning, July 20, 2013 at NHC Health Care in Smithville. She was preceded in death by her husband of 75 years J.L. Reeder on Nov. 6, 2012. Lena was the daughter of the late Will and Mallie Young Sorrells and was preceded in death by four brothers, four sisters and and grandchildren.

She is survived by three sons, William Edward Reeder and wife, Patsy, Fred Allen Reeder and wife, Edwina and Charles Thomas Reeder; five daughters, Virginia Ann Curtis and husband, Tommy, Betty Ruth Swindell and husband, Sam, Nancy Marie Hayes and husband, Joe, Carolyn Frances Rice and husband, Gary, Linda Gale George and husband, Jimmy; 15 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Peggy Hodge Willis

Funeral services for Mrs. Willis are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 24 at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Dr. Larry Locke officiating. Interment will be in Bethlehem Cemetery at Tuckers Crossroads. Visitation will be Tuesday 2-8 p.m. and Wednesday after 9 a.m. at Ligon & Bobo.

Mrs. Willis, 66, of Lebanon, passed away Saturday, July 20, 2013, at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville.

Born May 12, 1947, in Wilson County, she was the daughter of the late Willie and Hassie Elizabeth Martin Hodge. She was a homemaker and a member of College Hills Church of Christ.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sister, Annie Laura Duke; and six brothers, Douglas, Charles (Onie), Kenneth (Dorothy), James (Grace), Robert (Claudine) and Franklin Hodge.

She is survived by her husband of over 47 years, Therman Wayne Willis; four children, Thomas A. (Brenda) Willis, Doyle (Lori) Willis, Amanda (John) Edwards and Andy (Dawn) Willis; three sisters, Nancy (Truitt) Davis, Emma Hamlet and Elizabeth Cherry; sisters-in-law, Mary Edna Hodge and Barbara Edwards.; 13 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Thomas A. Willis, Andy Willis, John Edwards, Joshua Johnson, Steven Tucker and Johnny Wilkerson.
